NDIS is the term given to the National Disability Insurance Scheme. This scheme provides free individualised services and supports to people with a disability who meet the eligibility criteria.  NDIS uses an insurance approach similar to Medicare, which means that the costs for disability care are shared amongst the wider community. 

The NDIS aims to provide all Australians under the age of 65 who have a permanent or significant disability with the reasonable and necessary supports they need to live an ordinary life. These supports can include formal supports from mainstream or community based services, as well as informal supports through family and friends. 

The NDIS has been designed to give people with a disability greater choice and control over the support they receive, providing eligible individuals with funding based on their personal needs, lifelong goals and aspirations.

Sanctuary Family Solutions can provide supports to people with a disability who have NDIS funding in the following areas:

Please note that Sanctuary Family Solutions meets the eligibility criteria for the Temporary Transformation Payments (TTP) and charges the TTP rates for all Personal Care and Community Access supports. This assists Sanctuary Family Solutions to ensure they can provide a quality service by using these funds to train and  supervise staff, arrange meet and greets prior to accepting our service, and maintain regular contact with service users and their families.
